(YHIMC) was formed in
1989 to provide health
information management
support and consulting
services to local nursing
homes in the Winston-
Salem, North Carolina
area. Over the years,
YHIMC has expanded
staff, services and
geographical service
area to better serve
clients’ needs.
Today, YHIMC serves
skilled nursing,
assisted living facilities
and renal dialysis
clinics throughout
North Carolina, South
Carolina and Virginia.
The YHIMC service
area is divided into
consultanting areas to
minimize travel time
and expenses and to
save clients’ money.
YHIMC ‘s goal is to
partner with
contracted facilities to
help eliminate
deficiencies and to
save clients’ time and
money. Once the client
and YHIMC have
decided on a plan of
action, YHIMC
provides follow-up
services to assure the
plan’s proper
